Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy at Catalent Pharma Solutions utilizes Nicolet Avatar and Impact FT-IR spectrometers running the Omnic data processing, and TQ Analyst multivariate analysis packages. We have transmission, attenuated total reflectance, and diffuse reflectance accessories. Samples may be prepared as pressed salt pellets, cast onto salt windows, pressed into thin films, or analyzed as-is in liquid or gas transmission cells.
We also have an Olympus polarizing microscope with a confocal SensIR FTIR accessory capable of acquiring spectra of 10 micron particles in either absorption/reflection or diamond ATR mode
