Global Academic Competition for Life Science Leaders of Tomorrow 

2013 Competition has closed.

Calling all graduate students!  Demonstrate your academic excellence while creating real-world opportunities for continued advanced research and practical industry experience.

As sponsor of the competition, the Catalent Applied Drug Delivery Institute is partnering with top pharmacy schools around the world in search of our next generation’s scientific talent.  The Institute is dedicated to raising awareness of drug delivery technologies as a means to improve patient care.

Who can compete?

The competition is open to university students enrolled in graduate programs in:

• pharmaceutical science
• industrial pharmacy 
• drug delivery
• drug development or related disciplines

A list of participating schools will soon be available . Speak with your faculty advisor or professor for more information.

Interested in participating, but your university is not on the list?  You can still compete, as entries coming from other universities will be evaluated in a separate “general pool” category.

How to enter:

• Develop an original review article based on one of the preselected topics
• Revise official rules and submit the article using appropriate form below:

• When complete, email your original review article to: universitycompetition@catalent.com

Timing:

• 2013 Competition has been closed.
• Winners will be announced on or about May 6, 2013

Prizes:

• Competition entries will be judged by the Catalent Applied Drug Delivery Institute and members of the academic and life science industries.
• One winner from each university will receive $2,000*
• One grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and the opportunity for an internship with Catalent Pharma Solutions

*One winner will be selected from each participating university that submits at least five review articles.  Universities that submit fewer than five articles will be entered into a “general pool” category.  One winner will be selected from the general pool for a $2,000 prize; that winner also is eligible for the grand prize of $5,000.
