Advanced analytical techniques can provide timely insights into a product’s stability, performance, and composition. In this webinar, experts will share the applications of analytical techniques to help answer various questions during the product development process. The emphasis will be on:

  • Raman Spectroscopy - A powerful technique that can be used for polymorph identification, analysis of API form within formulations, and polymorph discrimination within a mixture. The practical applications of Raman spectroscopy and microscopy will be discussed, including examples of using the technique to understand why products fail quality control tests and determine optimal drug loading in solid dispersions.
  • Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry (MS) - Powerful techniques for the characterization and quantification of compounds. Their applications include the ability to confirm the structure of the compounds, determine purity, and identify (and possibly quantify) process-related impurities/degradants. Together, NMR and MS analysis can provide a definitive answer to the composition of your final drug product.
