The Global Operations Leadership Development (GOLD) program is an intensive, two-year, three rotation leadership development opportunity designed for university graduates who have a strong desire to accelerate their career growth in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced corporate environment. Gaining Real-World, Hands-On Experience
GOLD program participants obtain critical hands-on experience and high levels of accountability in various business areas such as quality, manufacturing, packaging, project management, and operational excellence within a global environment.
To accelerate your professional development and quick immersion into Catalent’s operations, you will rotate through a series of diverse job assignments across different technologies and geographies.
Responsibilities could include:
- Materials management
- Production scheduling & leadership
- Quality control/audit
- Lean manufacturing
- Project management
- Equipment & process validation
Building Excellence in Leadership
GOLD program participants will participate in a Leadership Development Program that includes formal classroom training, experiential learning, mentoring, Green Belt training and coaching. The program is designed to build skills in leading, managing, and inspiring others. GOLD participants will also gain knowledge of important business and financial concepts as part of our commitment to developing your business acumen.
Additional program enhancements include global cross-functional team projects, visibility to senior management, and mentoring discussions with the CEO and executive leaders.

Candidates for Catalent’s GOLD Program must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline preferred)
- Strong commitment to career development in operations management
- Excellent academic record
- Proven leadership ability and learning agility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English; other language skills desireable
- Willingness to relocate
- Flexible work hours
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be offered a full-time position at one of Catalent’s locations. Placement will be based on professional interests, performance in rotations, and organizational resource needs.
