Catalent Scientist to Present at 2010 InformEx USA Meeting
Somerset, NJ, February 11, 2010 — Charlotte Carroll, Ph.D., Senior Scientist, Catalent Pharma Solutions, will be presenting at the 2010 InformEx USA as part of the exhibitors’ showcase. InformEx USA will take place on February 16–19, 2010 in San Francisco, CA.
Dr. Carroll will present, “Taking the Mystery Out of Contaminant Detection in Material (API, Raw Material and Finished Product) Using NMR” on Tuesday, February 16, at 3:00 p.m. in Room 302. The presentation focuses on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy as a general test for the presence of adulterants. The (NMR) method is general enough to be used to screen all materials throughout the process and to provide reasonable assurance as to the quality of those materials.
