Catalent Announces New Sales Leadership Appointments to Development and Clinical Services Business

Somerset, NJ, April 14, 2011 - Catalent Pharma Solutions, a leading provider of pharmaceutical services from drug and biologic development to delivery technologies to supply solutions, has announced three new appointments to its Development and Clinical Services business unit.  Paul Wituschek has joined as the Vice President of Sales for the Development and Clinical Services business unit.  Sven Lee will lead the Biologics sales team as the Vice President of Business Development.  Dr. Paul Ingram is appointed to the newly created role of European Sales Director for Clinical Supply Services.  Catalent is continuing to invest in building strong customer focus through the addition of these three sales veterans with outstanding, specialized industry experience.

Mr. Wituschek comes to Catalent with more than twenty-five years of experience working in domestic and international sales, marketing and management.  Prior to joining Catalent, Mr. Wituschek worked as the Global Sales and Marketing Director and served as a member of the Board of Directors for Penn Pharmaceutical Services, Ltd., a global contract development and manufacturing organization based in the United Kingdom.  He has also served as the Global Sales Director and was a member of the Corporate Leadership Team for Wolters Kluwer Health – Pharma Solutions Division where he led a global sales team to record growth and profits.

Mr. Lee brings to Catalent eighteen years of experience in professional sales, marketing and commercialization, with experience in the biotech industry.  He has extensive experience in developing global strategic and tactical plans for new product launches, including biologic technology, neurology, cardiology and rheumatology.  Prior to joining Catalent, Mr. Lee served as the Director of Business Development of North America for Crucell Holland and previously held sales roles with Biogen Idec and Sanofi Winthrop Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Ingram joins Catalent Pharma Solutions with 15 years experience in leading sales and project management within the clinical supplies industry. Dr. Ingram was most recently with Bilcare Global Clinical Supplies as European Vice President and held prior roles with Fisher Clinical Services, Aptuit, Quintiles and Bio-Images.
