Catalent Experts Consider Challenging Tech Transfers at Dusseldorf Pharma Congress
Somerset, NJ, March 19 2013 – Dave Boerschel, Program Manager and Ray Rugebregt, New Product Development Project Manager, Catalent Pharma Solutions, are to present “Working with Challenging Tech Transfers” at the annual Pharma Congress Production & Technology event in Düsseldorf, Germany. Catalent specializes in technology transfer of a wide variety of products and in new product introduction and the session will examine current aseptic processes and best practice standards, citing examples of customer processes that have been improved to address issues and meet these standards. The Catalent speakers will also address ways to utilize automation to retire risk, incorporating other continuous improvement activities into a tech transfer, and will look at results, Critical To Quality (CTQ) scorecards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

With over 11 year’s experience at Catalent, Dave Boerschel has spent time in various roles, including operations supervisor, buyer/planner and project manager, and has been in his current position for over two years. Prior to Catalent he worked in operations in the Motorola cell phone division. Mr. Boerschel holds a Bachelors degree in Finance from Iowa State University.
Ray Rugebregt has more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and has worked for Catalent for the past 18 months. Prior to joining Catalent he spent more than 15 years working for Abbott Laboratories in engineering, manufacturing and operations roles. Mr. Rugebregt holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Chicago Illinois.
