Baltimore is the home to our 128,000 square foot Gene Therapy facility, located in the BioPark biomedical research park on the medical center campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
This location is Catalent’s Center of Excellence for PD/AD for Gene Therapy and specializes in upstream and downstream process development of viral vectors for clinical applications. The Baltimore site takes pride in its long-standing recognition as a scientific and technical leader in the region and the industry. We are committed to the safety of our employees and visitors, overall compliance, reliably supplying the patients who count on us, and excellent customer service for our clients. SECURITY
- Parking is either on the street (feeding the meter required) or in the parking garage at 1 N. Poppleton Street, one block West of the building on the right. Tickets are taken upon entering and paid on the first floor of the garage before returning to your car.
- All articles are subject to inspection.
- Visitors should be accompanied by an employee at all times within the facility.
- Taking photographs or videos is not allowed on site.
- Weapons, including privately owned firearms, are strictly prohibited on plant property.
- All persons visiting the site must be pre-registered by the host or register at the front desk or security desk by providing a formal government issued ID. Visitors are issued and must wear a name tag or contractor badge at all times while on site. All visitors are required to check out at the Kiosk before leaving the site.
