Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Catalent is committed to the health and safety of its employees, visitors, and the customers and patients we serve. In light of the Coronavirus outbreak, we have put in place restrictions on access to our sites.

By entering this facility I affirm that:

I have not experienced any of the following symptoms within 72 hours of visiting this site:

  • Fever or chills
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Cough
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Muscle or body aches
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat

Catalent takes the health and safety of its employees seriously. As such, if you should exhibit the symptoms of, or test positive for, COVID-19 over the next two days, we request that you contact your Catalent host, so that Catalent can take all possible measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

Site visitor guidelines are dependent on local regulations as well as local pandemic status and are subject to change. Your site host will advise on any changes outside of this document prior to visit.

Key Limoges Site Information

Catalent recent completion of a $30 million (€27 million) project at its facility in Limoges, France, transformed the site into a European center of excellence for biopharmaceutical development, drug product fill/finish services, and packaging. The site further expands Catalent Biologics’ global network, with early phase integrated clinical development through to clinical supply services and small- scale commercial manufacturing, allowing seamless tech transfer of projects as they progress to late-stage and larger-scale commercial supply from other Catalent manufacturing facilities in Europe and North America.

SECURITY

  • As soon as you arrive on site, fill in the required information in the security register at front desk to create a visitor/contractor badge. It also serves as a roll call list in case of emergency/evacuation.
  • The visitor/contractor badge is countersigned and delivered by the front desk administrator (or security guard). It is valid for one day only. If you lose your visitor/contractor badge, inform your Catalent host immediately.
  • The badge must always be worn and be visible.
  • When you leave the site at the end of the day, you must indicate your departure time in the security registers. In case of evacuation, we know you are no longer present on site.
  • Taking pictures or videos is subject to request and prior agreement.
  • The speed limit on site is 20 km/h, approx. 15mph. Your seatbelt must always be fastened until you switch off the ignition. The use of mobile phones whilst driving is strictly forbidden.

SAFETY & EMERGENCY

  • You will be provided with personal protective gowning requirements relevant to the areas visited during your stay. Jewelry will need to be removed prior to entering GMP Production areas.
  • In the event of a fire emergency, an alarm will sound. Your Catalent host or a member of the fire marshal team will escort you to the nearest exit door.
  • Accident or Injury – If you have an accident or feel ill, inform your host who will arrange for first aid.

GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP)

  • The Pharmaceutical facility adheres to regulatory requirements under Federal Law for Good Manufacturing Process (GMP).
  • Visitors are always accompanied within the facility. If your visit includes a facility tour ensure you bring closed, flat shoes.

SIGNS & WARNINGS

  • Please be aware of warning and/or personal protection signs and adhere to instruction issued by Catalent staff.
  • Do not enter restricted areas or touch any product, materials, machinery controls or equipment, unless authorized to do so by your host.
  • Always stay clear of vehicle doorways and watch for moving vehicles.

IT

  • Catalent offers wireless internet access for our guests. Please ask your host to make the necessary arrangements for internet access during your visit.
  • Catalent provides guest printing services. For assistance, please contact your host.

SMOKING

  • Main site: You are only allowed to smoke in the designated area, behind the ground floor coffee room.
  • Logistics site: You are only allowed to smoke in front of the Reception door.
