Catalent to Discuss Challenges & Logistics of Clinical Trials in Asia

Somerset, N.J. – November 24, 2015 — Catalent Pharma Solutions, the leading global provider of advanced delivery technologies and development solutions for drugs, biologics, consumer health and global clinical supply services, today announced that Dr. Christine Milligan, Global Director, Strategic Development Solutions, will present at the upcoming Clinical Trial Supply East Asia Conference, to be held at the InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel, Seoul, Republic of Korea, on December 1st – 2nd, 2015.

Dr. Milligan’s presentation, on Wednesday December 2nd, at 11.30 a.m., is entitled “Planning successful clinical trials in and from Asia: strategy and considerations,” and will discuss the current trends and challenges in clinical trials, also how clinical supply management and a network of local supply partners can help to save time and money when conducting trials in Asia.

Dr. Milligan has more than 30 years’ experience in early drug development, having spent 13 years developing drugs in the CNS, pain, and cardiovascular areas; four years in program management of CTX/IND submissions, and more than 10 years in managing clinical materials. Dr. Milligan was awarded her Ph.D. and an MBA from the University of Glasgow, UK. She also served as 2010 global Chair and council member for the ISPE Investigational Products steering committee.
