Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our brand-new facility near Oxford in the United Kingdom. We are home to Catalent’s first biotherapeutics site in the UK. This facility houses state-of-the-art capabilities for the development and manufacture of biologic therapies and vaccines, including mRNA, proteins, and other advanced modalities.
Located just south of the world-renowned university city of Oxford, at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, we are primly located to collaborate with the rich academic and biomedical science community centered around the Oxford, Cambridge, London triangle.
Combining our skills, knowledge and technical capability we will create opportunities to transform innovation in vaccine and drug development into life-protecting and life-saving treatments for people across the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.

Visitor Health Statement
You will no longer have to test to come to the site. However, if you have symptoms or have been around someone who has tested positive, in the last 5 days, we ask that you consider testing for the safety of others. As with any illness if you feel unwell you should not come into the site. Health and wellbeing of both our staff and our visitors is of the utmost importance. Masks are welcome in and around the office – this is a personal choice.

VISITOR BADGES
- Once you are checked in, you will receive a visitors badge that must be worn at all times. When leaving you are asked to return your badge to your host.
SECURITY

A Catalent employee will always accompany visitors. Taking general photographs or videos is not permitted inside or outside of the facility.
SAFETY & EMERGENCY
- You will be provided with personal protective gowning requirements relevant to the areas visited during your stay. As part of the site is still under construction, arms and legs must be covered if you intend to enter these areas. Jewelry will need to be removed prior to entering GMP Production areas.
- In the event of a fire emergency, your Catalent host or a member of the fire prevention team will escort you to the nearest exit door.
GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP)
- The Pharmaceutical facility adheres to regulatory requirements under the Law for Good Manufacturing Process (GMP).
SIGNS & WARNINGS
- Please be aware of displayed warning/personal protection signs and adhere to instruction issued by Catalent staff.
- Do not enter restricted areas or touch any product, materials, machinery controls or equipment, unless authorized to do so by a Catalent employee.
IT
- Catalent Oxford offers wireless internet access for our guests. Your host will make arrangements for internet access during your visit. There is a printer onsite which your host can print to on your behalf.
